Heather Sully
Heather Sully, B.Comm, CPHR (pronouns: she, her, hers) is a Chartered Professional in Human Resources with over two decades of broad HR experience in both private and public organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Human Resources and Finance from the University of Saskatchewan, a Graduate Certificate in Change Management from Royal Roads University and a Strategic Workforce Planning Certificate from the Human Capital Institute. She’s currently engaged in the Institute of Corporate Directors Rotman Director Education Program.
Heather joined the HR team at Affinity Credit Union in 2011 and in 2019 assumed the role of Chief People Officer. She brings extensive experience in culture strategy, workforce planning, and business optimization to the leadership position. With a passion for inclusion, she’s focused on developing leading HR strategies to foster a remarkable employee experience which she sees as the root of all great customer experiences.
Heather enjoys being active in the community. She has served on several boards and committees including involvement with organizations such as the United Way of Saskatoon & Area and YWCA Saskatoon and is past chair of the board of the Saskatoon Friendship Inn. She’s engaged with the SK Chartered Professionals in Human Resources and acts as a mentor and speaker at several HR focused events. Having grown up in Saskatoon and now raising her teenage daughters here, Heather is passionate about contributing towards an inclusive and vibrant Saskatoon and these values guide her community engagement.
