Rachael Steinke
Chief Executive Officer
Rachael Steinke, BA, MA, joined the Saskatoon Community Foundation in 2024 as Chief Executive Officer. Rachael’s career, spanning over a decade in executive leadership, has demonstrated her ability to create impactful initiatives, build lasting partnerships, and address complex organizational challenges with a clear, visionary approach. Her expertise in large-scale fundraising—including securing operational and capital funding through government partnerships, donor engagement, legacy giving, and grant management—will be invaluable in strengthening the financial sustainability of the Foundation, which directly benefits our fundholders, donors, beneficiaries, and partners.
Rachael’s career has included leadership roles in both public and non-profit sectors including serving as Executive Director of Elmwood Residences, Manager of Community Services with the Ministry of Social Services, Program Manager of KidsFirst North, Councillor for the Town of La Ronge and Community Inclusion Consultant for Inclusion Saskatchewan. Her work has consistently focused on equity, diversity, and inclusion—values that align closely with the vision, mission and guiding principles of the Saskatoon Community Foundation.
Living in Saskatoon, Rachael is a proud mother of 7-year-old twins, Gaia and Bash, and has shared 19 wonderful years with her partner, Mably. Rachael’s deep connection to her family and community drives her passion for leadership and positive change.
