Warren Isbister-Bear, MBA

Warren Isbister-Bear MBA, is from Ahtahkakoop Cree Nation, Saskatchewan in Treaty 6 Territory, and has devoted his career to strengthening community and economic development. Driven by a passion for lifelong learning he most recently completed his MBA in Community Economic Development. Additionally, Warren has a BA in Aboriginal Public Administration, an IAP2 Certificate in Public Participation, and holds a TAED (Technical Aboriginal Economic Developer from the CANDO Council for the Advancement of Native Development Officers.

Warren is part of the Member Services team at the First Nations Finance Authority & he and his team build strong, productive relationships with borrowing members and welcoming new Nations to FNFA in Saskatchewan, Alberta, and Northwest Territories. You’ll find him actively engaging with First Nations across the country at events, conferences, and presentations, creating learning opportunities and strengthening relationships with leadership.  Rooted in his commitment to living a good life (miyo-pimatisiwin) & (miyo-wahkotowin – fostering good relations), Warren lends his time to numerous volunteer roles and Board positions that strengthen safety, wellbeing, advancing solutions to homelessness, and empowerment across the communities he serves. In his spare time, Warren and his partner can often be found participating in community events that promote healthy lifestyles including actively participating in powwows and ceremonies celebrating culture, identity, belonging, and community.
