Jeret and Kelly Bode are both passionate about Saskatoon and its community. Kelly has spent nearly her entire life in Saskatoon and Jeret, who grew up outside of Yorkton, has called Saskatoon home since his University days. Jeret and Kelly both attended the University of Saskatchewan, where they obtained six degrees between the two of them. Kelly is currently a corporate lawyer and partner at Lakefield LLP and Jeret is Managing Director of Investment Banking at IA Private Wealth Inc.
Jeret and Kelly dedicate many hours giving back to their community and have served as past board members for organizations including the Saskatoon Community Foundation, Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (SYPE), the Saskatoon Club and Information Services Corporation for Jeret and the Greater Saskatoon Chamber of Commerce, YWCA, Princess Shop and Saskatchewan Research Council for Kelly. The Bodes have each been honoured with several awards and nominations for their commitment to their community and professions.
Jeret and Kelly met in downtown Saskatoon where they crossed each other on the street every morning as they walked to their respective offices. They were overjoyed to welcome their daughters, Nora and Iris to the world and are excited to raise their family in Saskatoon. The Bodes created their fund to give back to the community that provided the foundation for their successes and, in particular, hope that the fund will be used to support the growth of business in Saskatoon.
