Klombies Family Fund

With faith and determination, Glenda Klombies fought a valiant two and a half-year battle with the effects of a brain tumour. Through it all, she continued to live life on her terms, maintaining her interests in family and community.

Born in 1944 in Prince Albert, Glenda met her husband of 35 years, Bob, while working in Saskatoon. They raised their children here, and Glenda participated in organizations such as the K-Ette Club of Saskatoon, MS Society ( where she was a top fundraiser), P.R.I.D.E. Canada (which she co-founded in Saskatoon), and The Saskatoon Foundation. Her concern for others extended far beyond our city, as an active promoter of Third World development. She was also music director, organist, choir leader and active member of her church.

Glenda will live forever in the hearts of family and friends and in continuing good works to the community made possible by the Klombies Family Fund.
