The Lamarsh (Emigh/Ring) Family Fund was established by the children of Mr. & Mrs. A.G. Lamarsh in loving memory of their parents.
Archie and Lucille were proud to call Saskatoon their home in the early depression years to the 90’s. The Lamarshs enjoyed Saskatoon and found it to be a wonderful city – an ideal place to raise their family, make lifelong friendships and contribute to the community fabric.
Their children, Jack, Joan and Judy have followed the example of guidance of their parents. They are pleased to have the opportunity to commemorate their parents while establishing a fund that will contribute to the quality of life for families in Saskatoon.
Jack Lamarsh practiced law in Calgary. He and his wife Christine have two sons. Judy Ring and husband Fred reside in Calgary with two daughters. Joan Emigh was a member of the Board of Saskatoon Community Foundation. Joan’s husband Bob practiced law with his father-in-law Archie Lamarsh for 30 years. Joan and Bob have two sons.
Jack and Judy have retained many friendships with Saskatonians now living in Calgary. They have offered to assist Saskatoon Community Foundation by forming a Calgary support group of former residents with warm feeling for their hometown. The Foundation looks forward to an inaugural meeting to enhance and expand our Saskatoon Community Foundation Family.
