Roy and Delma Elliott Fund

“There comes a time when you get older that you have to leave something to the community you lived in. We always enjoyed the museum. It will be marvelous to help preserve artifacts for everyone to see.

Delma Elliott

Delma met her future husband Roy while her family operated a restaurant in the village of Sovereign. Following the couple’s marriage in 1935, they established a farm machinery sales and repair shop where they kept extremely busy. After fifteen years, the couple returned to their roots ‘farming’ which they continued to do until their retirement in 1968. For them, retirement meant some additional time to travel, visit, and help others. In 1997, shortly after moving to Rosetown, Roy passed away.

Delma loved caring for others, Gardening, and traveling. Delma established the Roy & Delma Elliott Fund as a means of honouring her husband Roy. The Fund was established to support the efforts of the Rosetown & District Museum.
