Susan Milburn and her family have deep ties to the Saskatoon community and they value the quality of life here. Susan’s parents operated a small business in Saskatoon. Susan went to school in Saskatoon, attending the University of Saskatchewan, where she met her husband Randy Pangborn. They were married in Saskatoon, and their daughter Jillian was born and raised in this city.
“Saskatoon is a very nice place to live. This community has been very good to us and our family strongly believes that if you are in a position to help, you should,” says Susan. She and her family decided on a non-designated fund at the Saskatoon Community Foundation. “We have faith in the Foundation’s granting process and we wanted to help where there is the greatest community need. Saskatoon Community Foundation’s knowledge of the charitable sector ensures that our philanthropy is efficient and meaningful.” Susan served on the Board of Directors of the Saskatoon Community Foundation.
