Judy and Terry were both born in Saskatoon. Terry grew up on 4th Street and attended Buena Vista and Nutana schools. Judy was raised in Bradwell and went to school in Bradwell, Elstow, and Clavet.
They met in 1978 in Saskatoon while Judy was working at Federated Co-operatives Limited and Terry was working as a photographer. They married in 1982 and spent their entire working lives in Saskatoon.
Judy later worked for many years at the Nortel fibre optic plant in Saskatoon. As a partner at Imagery Photography, Terry provided pro bono photography services to the St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation and the YWCA Saskatoon. He also volunteered at major curling events and the World Junior Hockey Championship when they were hosted in Saskatoon, and served on the Board of Directors for Tourism Saskatoon.
Judy volunteered with the Western Development Museum and for Folkfest, and was a dedicated blood donor for many years.
They have always lived within their means and believe in honouring the place they call home. Deeply committed to their city and province, they want to see both continue to thrive. For them, giving back is simply a way of thanking the community that has given them so much
