Step Up for Mental Health Fund

Step Up for Mental Health – with Cameco as presenting sponsor – is a Saskatoon-based run/walk to raise funds and awareness for mental health. The net proceeds from the 5km/10km run and walk are disbursed to Saskatchewan organizations undertaking projects that support mental health.

Applications for funding will be adjudicated by a panel that includes mental health expertise, the Saskatoon Community Foundation and 321 Go Running – the managing firm of Step Up.

The 2024 Granting Program will grant an estimated $150,000 with a maximum individual grant of $10,000.

321 Go Running

A new Saskatchewan company focused on providing amazing running events that benefit you – and your community. All of our projects will benefit not-for-profit or charitable organizations through a portion of registration fees and sponsorships. 321 Go Running operates Step Up for Mental Health (Saskatoon), Raiders Run (Prince Albert) and Gingerbread Run (Saskatoon).

Applying for Step Up for Mental Health Funding

  • Your application must be focused on mental health
  • Application process is open to registered charities, qualified donees, non-profits*, and organized groups* (*for groups without a charitable number, please use 12-3456789 when creating your online account)
  • Your project must operate in and benefit a community in Saskatchewan
  • All applications must be received via the online application form and must be completed in full to be considered
