Advisory: Agencies Announce Funding Directed to Homelessness
Representatives from Saskatoon Community Foundation, together with Central Urban Métis Federation Inc. (CUMFI), YWCA Saskatoon, and Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon Inner City Inc. (CLASSIC), will announce funding to provide lasting stability for many community members experiencing homelessness.
This funding is made possible by a transformative legacy gift from the late Robert ‘Bob’ Steane.
The announcement is being made on World Homeless Day, an international advocacy day.
At the event, Saskatoon Community Foundation will release its Vital Focus on Homelessness report, highlighting the realities of Saskatoon’s increasing homelessness, contributing factors, barriers, and community solutions.
