Lafond-Molloy Fellowship Awarded
In the spirit of transformative change, Chief Lafond’s granddaughter, Alphonsine R. Lafond, and her family have established the Alphonsine Lafond Initiative to invest in young Indigenous women.
The Institute for Research on Public Policy (IRPP) announced this fellowship on Monday during a public event on Indigenous economic inclusion at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights in Winnipeg. IRPP President Jennifer Ditchburn delivered the opening remarks.
