Saskatoon Community Foundation Appoints Rachael Steinke as New CEO

Saskatoon, SK: The Saskatoon Community Foundation (SCF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Rachael Steinke as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective October 15th, 2024. Rachael brings over a decade of experience in executive leadership, strategic vision, and community-building to her new role, positioning her to guide the Foundation’s continued mission of making Saskatoon a more vibrant, inclusive, and resilient community.
Following an extensive and competitive recruitment process, Rachael was selected for her proven ability to lead organizations through complex challenges while fostering partnerships and driving impactful initiatives. Her expertise in large-scale fundraising and securing operational and capital funding through government partnerships, donor engagement, and legacy giving will be instrumental in advancing SCF’s goals.

Rachael has served as Executive Director of Elmwood Residences Inc. and has held key leadership positions in both public and non-profit sectors, including with the Ministry of Social Services and Inclusion Saskatchewan. She has also been an active advocate for equity and inclusion throughout her career. In her new role at SCF, Rachael will lead efforts to deepen the Foundation’s impact on the community by driving initiatives that foster collaboration and ensuring sustainable financial support for the causes SCF champions.
