Due to COVID-19 and the current uncertainty about when large gatherings will resume, the Saskatoon Community Foundation Board of Directors and Planning Committee for the Nutrien Saskatoon Community Foundation Cultural Gala have rescheduled the Walk with the Wind gala to September 18, 2021.

Cindy Fuchs of the Saskatchewan Roughriders Foundation has seen firsthand the impact the South Saskatchewan Community Foundation and Saskatoon Community Foundation have had in our province. Now the three foundations are giving a hand to the most vulnerable people in Rider Nation.

With economic pressure, rising costs, increasing needs, and reduced government funding, it is difficult for many worthy charities to secure funding for program and service delivery. A record number of grant applications were received by the foundation.

The Quality of Life Grants Program continues to serve a broad range of needs in the community. On behalf of our donors, our foundation has identified emergent needs and grants to address those issues. We can make our best impact by focusing on diversity and inclusion.
